A Little Bit About Me...

I am a high school business and computer teacher. I have taught for 5 years. I throughly enjoy working with and getting to know my students. I consistently work with students to help them excel both in my course work and in their other classes. In addition to having a strong background in business and computers, I was also a communications major, thus I am confident in my ability to help students succeed in the public speaking and language arts. I have always picked things up quickly, more quickly than my peers. My peers have often come to me to ask for my help in those areas. I also see how to apply what I have learned to original problems because I see connections and hold a deeper understanding of the material. My double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a mino in Mathematics was full of its fair share of difficult material, and I was almost always able to help my peers, as well as younger students, through their problems.
I can usually find a way to relate the material that the student is struggling with to something else that they understand.
