A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that people learn in different fashions. For example, I feel that some concepts may be better explained with tangible objects while other concepts are learned better when questioned and discussed. By exploring the different ways of learning we can find what works best for that individual and use that method as a tool for their understanding. I feel, in the past, that many of the peers I tutored not only obtained/recollected more information, but were more comfortable in a quiet, relaxed environment. The position obviously requires excellent written communications skills. Having recently completed an AAS degree in Information Systems Management, with a focus in Network Administration and Network Security/Computer Forensics, one of the comments frequently received from my instructors was in reference to my technical writing skills. The recent AAS degree required extensive submission of APA-style formatted academic papers, so I have a high comfort level and significant experience base in that area.
