I enjoy teaching. I believe all children have the ability to succeed in the subject of math. The key to teaching children math is to find out what motivates your students. Then I try to find away to incorporate their interest into the lesson so they relate with the subject at hand. I am a senior studying Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech. I have always had a personal passion for education and have enjoyed spreading the joys of learning and understanding to my peers, siblings, and friends. I excel in the subject areas of Math and Science, however have extensive writing skills.
The greatest reward one can achieve is to see the smile on someones face when they have found success in understanding something they felt impossible. I feel that there is no single method to learning, instead it is each individuals character that defines their own learning methods.
