I am experienced in all subject matter listed from Reading Comprehension to Athletics, all gained through years of experience through teaching those particular skills to students and my own proficiency in developing said skills. I graduated in 2007 from the University of Arkanas with a degree in Political Science. Currently I am a legislative analyst for the state of Arkansas and work daily with legislators to pass legislation. I also have experience teaching conversational English as a Second Language overseas to Chinese English-teachers. My strengths are writing research papers and essays. I have extensive experience with government and any social sciences. I really enjoy helping children and teenagers discover new things through education. I have always expressed an interest in the education field since graduating high school. I earned my AA as well as my BA while serving on active duty in the Army. I was in the military for 8 years and recently seperated to persue a civilian career in order to be closer to my family. While I was in the military I found myself in leadership positions as well as instructor positions throughout varies activities in my career. I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters in Education with a Curriculum Development degree. I always adapt my teaching style to fit the student. I am willing to do just about anything to help a student learn a subject, so long as that student is as dedicated to learning it as I am to teaching it. It takes two people working together in order to have a sucessful tutoring session. I have tutored most subjects in both in middle school and high school. My most recent experience was tutoring psychology and spanish at the college level. I do not hold a teaching certificate, but I do love to teach.
