Science and Math Tutor!

As a supplemental instruction leader, I created and lectured curriculum based lesson plans three hours a week to college students. I would teach anywhere from one student to multiple students. I went back to college to pursue a career in education. While in college I tutored basic math skills to college students and worked with middle school students under a grant program called GEAR UP. I am in my fourth year of experience in the secondary education classroom. The trend now in SC is to hire only secondary teachers with a Masters level of education. I love working with children and students of all ages. I was a volunteer at Shriners Childrens Hospital for many years in the recreational therapy department. I was a "class teacher" at a friend's daycare part time, and I held a summer job as a lifeguard and swim instructor for many years.
