A Little Bit About Me...

I am a former United States Marine and a recent college gradute with a bachelors degree in English and a minor in advertising. I am winner of the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Writting Award and I have also worked as a substitute teacher for the past 3 years. Lastly, I am TEFL certified. I have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
I would describe my teaching style as "motivating." I believe in encouraging students to perform their best at all times for all assignments. Effort is the most important ingredient to success. I am encouraging and understanding, yet demanding and committed.

I truly believe all children can learn. I am very student-centered as I know that each child learns in different ways.
