All things good to know are difficult to learn!

I have always been a math person, even as a little kid. I am currently attending Francis Marion University and double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. In the spring of 2014 I will be taking Calculus III and Multivariable Calculus. I tutor my friends and they love the way I teach compared to their professors or instructors. If I do not initially know how to solve a problem, it will take me a few minutes to learn it, provided that there are notes available. I have also been into music for the past 9 years. I know how to play the piano and any percussion instrument.

I am a recent graduate, I graduated in 3 years and will be going back to finish my engineering degree. I have a BS in Electronics Technology which required me to take Cal I,II,II, Applied Statics and Technical Math. I also have experience with Solid Works, C++, Computer Repair/Installation and Electronics. After school I've been tutoring other college students in Math and repairing computers in my spare time.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a person with an inquiring mind, I have spend many years learning how students learn. I taught math at the high school level for five years in Florida, as well as one year in North Carolina. In addition, I have taught students with severe disabilites, and students in all subjects at the elementary level. Always interesting in continuing to learn, I have attended numerous workshops on how students learn. In addition, I was a contributing author to the Algebra Project with the University of Central Florida from 2000-2003.
