Friendly tutor with over five years of experience working with children and adults of all ages. I worked at Elohim Center tutoring the kids at an after school homework center in Hartsville, SC. I also worked at Hartsville School of Performing Arts for a short time period. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. I worked at Billie Hardee Home for Boys in Darlington, SC as a volunteer I provided teen age boys the assistance in tutoring them with math, reading, and science. I have earned a BA in Criminology and an Associates in Sociology. As a soldier helping people is not a job or a career, it's my choice in life to give and be rewarded through the final product of a completed task.

I am adamant to maintain a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a B.A. degree in history and an M.A. in secondary education with a concentration in social studies. This experience gives me a broad range of knowledge in a number of subjects. My college preparation has provided me with extensive skills in reading and writing so I can pass that knowledge on to my students.

My teaching style is based on reading then reviewing. At that point in time ask questions to see if the student has grasped the information being given. If not, answer questions then clarify. When reviewing information it is important to make sure the student knows reasoning behind subject matter so that they are understanding logic and not just memorizing information. In subjects that invloves math such as probability, chemistry, or statistics, I would do a few examples followed by letting the tutee working a few problems.
I have tutored fellow classmates in the past throughtout middle school and high school.
