I have always been driven to learn and pursue and education, this led me to completing my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in history from UC- San Diego. I enjoyed tutoring math, science and english while in high school and continued in college. After graduating I volunteered in Chile teaching English which greatly improved my teaching skills and improved my Spanish Language abilities. I currently work as a substitute teacher which allows me to continue to gain teaching experience while I work towards a full credential I am very patient and outgoing with students, I try to gain a good understanding of where there are at in order to help them understand what is needed and how to achieve their goals. Communication has always been an interest of mine so I pursued a journalism degree and spent many hours in education to be an adept communicator through the written word.
