My comments on tutoring Desktop Publishing : I am very comfortable with the material.

I have been a tutor at UCA for about 2 years. I tutor mainly in math but I have experience with other subjects. I am a computer science major. I know how to use computer languages like Python, C++, HTML, and Assembly Language. I know how to use most of the Microsoft Office programs which include Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Word. I have a little experience with Access but I am not a pro in it.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that patience is the most important virtue when teaching a child new material. I have a nephew who is ADHD and I have helped him with many school projects and other homework. He requires a lot of attention and a lot of patience. So I am aware that all children are different and have a different way of learning. I believe in finding what gets them motivated and expanding on that!
I have always loved teaching students the principals of Math. During my time at Harding University I was apart of a competitive Economic team (SIFE) and for them I developed original material on economic principles to present at the surrounding elementary schools and even high schools. Coming from a smaller school, I understand the importance of one on one communication and teaching.
