I am the mother of 3 children, two with college degrees and one currently in college. People learn best when they understand the importance of the material being taught, something I strive to convey to my students. While I can easily teach a didactic lecturing style, I feel that an interactive approach often better meets the needs of the students. A Little Bit About Me...

Ever since I was quite young I have enjoyed mathematics. I went into the field of engineering to apply this love of mathematics and logical thinking to systems and products useful to our everyday lives, first as a Corrosion Engineer then later with a Master’s degree in the Biomedical field.
