Much of my teaching style I learned while at Apple Computer in one on one computer teaching sessions. I tend to be a very enthusiastic and encouraging anyway, but Apple taught me an additional patience and a lead-learning-out teaching style that promotes self-discovery and avoids simply giving answers. I actually think I have tutored statistics at UCLA but cannot remember clearly - much of my tutoring has been in bits and pieces and volunteer or related to class work.
