I love teaching because of the difference it makes in a child's life. I am easy to get along with and have a great sense of humor. I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State in New Hampshire in 1975. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.

In my last three years of teaching I was the Inclusion/Resource teacher, however, I also worked with some Life-Skills students, as well as doing some 4th grade co-teaching. I am comfortable in working with at-risk students and understand the importance of having a rapport with them. My first year as a teacher I taught ESL at a catholic high school.
