I do my best to adapt to how the student learns most efficiently. I also greatly encourage for the student to speak during tutoring sessions; rather than I do all the talking, I believe it is greatly beneficial for the student to partake in discussions and ask questions. I also do my best to incorporate hands-on activities with students. Unfortunately, I've found that many people find science to be intimidating and difficult. It is my goal to show students that science is, in fact, extremely interesting and fun. I wish to make it as engaging as possible to spark a students interest, captivate them, and make them curious about the scientific world.

I am the product of two trained teachers and I have always had the desire to share the knowledge that I have gained. I believe that we are all unique individuals and as such grow, learn and process things at different rates. It is therefore very important as a tutor to first access the needs of the pupil.
