As a student attending Florida State University's Civil Engineering program I was required to regularly learn, understand and apply complex mathematical equations, and scientific concepts to both hypothetical and real world problems. Mosley High School during my senior year it was requested by a M.A.P.P.S. I enjoy seeing the "Light Bulb" come on when a student grasps a concept. I tend to defer to the students learning style and teach to their need and understanding. Over the years, I have found that this a most dynamic and effective means of imparting information. In addition, the student is more apt to retain information when taught in this manner.
