College student looking to pursue growth in you and herself

My teaching style all depends on the subject and the student. Everyone learns differently. Unfortunately, the public school system seems to disagree with that. I begin by assessing the type of learner you are and from there I pick my teaching style.
I have experience in and outside of the classroom in all of the fields I listed. From a 4.0 G.P.A to sales office growth I have learned a lot and am eager to share my experience in order to help others. English is and will always be my favorite subject. I have done speech writing and presenting to essay competitions. God blessed me with a way with words and I have used it to excel in many areas of my life.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my higher educational career, I’ve been driven to learn as much as possible to help satisfy my enormous curiosity. I have earned a bachelor degree in English Literature, and am currently a MFA candidate in the creative writing program at Arizona State University. As part of my graduate funding, I work as a teaching assistant. The program requires constant training, and I enjoy taking part in understanding the way students learn. In addition to teaching at the university, I work with the Office of Youth Preparation—teaching not only the craft of poetry, but helping 4th and 5th graders develop language skills necessary to do well in school. Although I primarily work with the study of English, I study Spanish and have become proficient with the use of the language.

As an applicant who holds three degrees, I have always wanted to attain the best education my mind and finances could allow. I have earned three degrees, A.S. in Animal Science, B.S. in Christian Ministries, and a Masters in Substance Abuse Counseling which has given me advanced experience in grammatical and writing skills. I have also been an intern at elementary schools for 6 months when I was an education major, which has given me an opportunity to work with grade school students and help them with their schoolwork.
