I have also been a nursing instructor, where I taught cardiac, orthopedics,endocrine with an emphasis on diabetes, anatomy and physiology, dosage calculation, and general nursing care, including work in the skills lab. I have experience teaching my patients and their families, who normally have very little, if any, knowledge about their conditions that they can effectively manage their health on their own. Very relaxed and encouraging. I use quite a bit of discussion, and I like to ask students questions that lead them down the path to help them discover the answers they seek.
