I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. Hands-on learning and learning through experience always leaves a lasting impression. Just memorizing facts, although in some cases that is necessary, it is just not fun for all students and just may not stick unless learned in a fun way. I want to make learning fun because no one should ever stop learning. There is just too much out there to sit back and let life pass you by.

In 2006, I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education K- 8th grades. My cognate was concentrated in the Socials Studies areas. I have a great love of history and always traveling to learn more about interesting parts of the country. After graduation, I taught Commercial Science grades 6th thru 8th in a middle school. I have taught computers for the past two years in the same school. I have also substituted in all grades and all subjects.
I feel that all students learn differently and for that my teaching styles vary. I am a visual person so; I that all children can learn when shown examples of what I am trying to teach them.
