A Little Bit About Me...

I attended a preparatory school in Junior High and High School. I then went on to Mississippi College where I obtained a Bachelor degree in Home Economics with an emphysis on Fashion Merchandising. When I became a mom, I decided to home school my kids so that I could take an active part in their education and I could guide them in ways that someone else might not find interesting or important.
I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. Hands-on learning and learning through experience always leaves a lasting impression. I graduated 94/921 from Broken Arrow HS in 1994 and tutored as part of my affiliation with extra-curricular groups. I finished 1st, 2nd & 5th at three separate area high-school accounting competitions. I was included on the President’s Honor Roll (4.0 GPA) 5 times while attending Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, and was awarded several scholarships based on academic performance.
