Worked with "At Risk" 8th graders to help get them on a positive path to High School. Instructed forums for the students that provided with the necessary information to have a successful education. I Created Agendas for upstate youth detention facilities to motivate them to return back to school upon release. Working with various groups of youth have inspired me to help anyone who wants to learn.

I began teaching in 2011 as a tutor at a local tutoring facility. I quickly realized that I had a gift for teaching and a passion for doing so. I continued to tutor at this facility for 3 years. My schedule remained full as I was in high demand once word got out that there was a good math tutor. I decided to leave the tutoring facility in order to pursue my artistic passions through music. Shortly after leaving, though, I got some phone calls from the parents of previous students asking if I would still teach their children. After some thought, I obliged and began tutoring privately. Algebra I is one of my top subjects!

I try to show the easiest way possible to solve the problems.
I did maintain a B or higher in all these classes. I also have three children of my own that I help understand the concepts of math. While in college I tutored an older lady with college algebra so that she would not have to take over and she came out of the class with an A. I find that teaching is as much about getting to know each person, finding there strengths and weaknesses and using those to benefit them in their process of understanding.
