A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching career began at Lyndon State College in Vermont. During my time at Lyndon, I was able to participate in many internships. Lyndon put me into the school systems/districts as early as my sophomore year. While obtaining my education degree, I also became very interested in psychology due to the nature of some of my students. Along with Education, I also obtained a Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in Psychology. I graduated Lyndon with the "Most Outstanding Senior" Award in the Education department. After graduation I received a job teaching sixth grade. I love learning and so while teaching I enrolled at the University of New England to work towards my Masters degree in Education. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities. I continued on a transitional certificate teaching elementary grades two and four, and most recently have taught post-secondary medical assisting students at a post secondary institution as well as teaching night courses in adult education in medical terminology and medical transcription. I had great success in all fields among my students.

Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine.
