I have taught private lessons for a year, while also teaching ballet, modern, and jazz in studios. I also led dance class at a charter school for a year twice a week. I have many years of elementary reading tutoring experience. This started at a young age, as my mother was an elementary public school remedial reading teacher. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a private school, which left me with certain vacation times differing. Rather than getting a sitter and have me stay home my mother took me to her school with her to have me assist and help out with the students and their reading difficulties. I love working with children and young adults. As a Music major, I have been giving singing, piano, and theory and sight singing lessons for many years.
