My comments on tutoring Special Education : I am a special education teacher with 26 years of experience at every level from pre-K to high school. I have taught students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD,dyslexia, and severe and profound handicaps. I have a vast knowledge of approaches and techniques that work with special education students. I am also bilingual, fluent in Spanish. My teaching style is based on the student's need. Not everyone learns the same way. It is my goal to find out where the student is at and meet him or her at their level.
I have 8.5 years teaching experience with an outstanding PDAS record. I have recently relocated to the area and would like to provide services to those who are in need. I have very high expectations for my student no matter where they are at. Patience is required in Special Education and it takes hard work to achieve the objectives that are being worked on.
