Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have a Masters degree in Reading as well as a K through 12 Reading Endorsement. I have also tutored many students at all grade levels including college in Reading. Additionally, I have worked with Dyslexic students. Students need the basic foundation skills before moving on.

As a college graduate and a teacher, I have aspired to help students from K through college to achieve their goals and to be the best they can be. Aditionally, I have taught all grades K-12 and have implemented Study skills courses for students in Grades 3-12. Currently I am a Math Specialist in a local public school system for students in grades K-5. My lastest certificate was achieved a month ago in the Orton-Gillingham Reading, Writing, and Spelling course designed to assist students with these particular learning difficulties. I received 3 hours of Graduate credit from the University of Michigan for taking this course.
I love working with a diversity of students. My main goal is to assist students in achieving their academic goals. I modify the curriculum according to their needs. I am very patient, friendly,and enthusiastic. It is quite easy for me to build a trusting relationship with my students. I have worked both in the public and private school settings.
