Growing up, I never thought that I would want to be a teacher. After taking a job as a Childcare Counselor with the YMCA, I realized the I was meant to teach and work with children. I have been working with the YMCA for close to three years. I graduated from Manatee Community College with my Associate’s degree in May of 2009. I am currently attending the University of South Florida in Sarasota to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
