I am not overbearing. I am laid back, but at the same time, I make sure that the student learns what he/she needs to learn. I am very patient. I try to respect the student and not make learning seem like a chore. Building a foundation of learning skills, even during a short tudoring session can really change a student's approach in all of their classes.
I have taken education classes at Northern Kentucky University. At one point, I was considering on being a Art Teacher. I didn't finish with that path, but I did gain much experience with children and knowledge during that time in working with students. I have worked and studied special needs children as well. I still consider going back for a Master's at some point in education. I think this job would be beneficial in my goals, and for my students, and a great learning experience for us both.

I have found that most students that are having difficulty can be put back on track by a teacher willing to take the time to find the problem. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I believe all children deserve to reach their potential and they can if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning opportunities. A good education can make a world of difference in a child's life. I strive to give all of my students' the tools they need to succeed in life.
