I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. I have obtained 22 credits of my masters degree in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement and am 1 course away from my Reading Endorsement. I am also ESOL certified. I am a certified teacher and experienced tutor. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grades, all subject areas, reading intervention for 2nd and 3rd grade, and reading and math tutoring experience all the way from pre-k through 9th grade. I worked as a elementary teacher in Romania for about 13 years. I used to work differentiate and with a combination of classes. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked in many aspects of tutoring from being a lead teacher in a daycare classroom to my current job as a bilingual teacher assistant in an elementary school. I have held my current job for four years. I have worked with children with varying disabilities. I have also tutored college students in study and test taking skills, reading and comprehension, math, and English language arts.
I vary my teaching style according to what brings out the best in each of my students. It depends on what learning strategy works best for them.
