A Little Bit About Me...

I am patient with students and encourage them to learn at their own pace. Students learn at a different rates and have different comprehension abilities. Some are able to absorb a material faster than others. But they will all learn the subject matter if given the chance and encouragement and by introducing the subject/explaining it in different ways with patience and concern.
I taught as a substitute teacher in New Jersey for 3 years before moving to California. I have a multiple subjects credential from New Jersey. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with kids of various age groups for about a year now. As of now, I am involved with Breakthrough Sacramento, which is non- profit organization that help underachieved Middle school kids to advance into great High schools in Sacramento region. I can work with groups as well as individuals and I am solid believer that every child is a winner, he/she just have to find his/her potential to be called a winner. I believe in slow, but explanatory method of teaching.Using fast pace learning or harsh words for kids is not in my philosophy. A Little Bit About Me...

As a former military child, I have learned to adapt very quickly to any situation and believe every experience is a learning one. I have worked with both military and non-military with my duties in some jobs included helping people with software and computer skills. My undergraduate degree in Mass Communications strengthened my ability to communicate effectively and sparked further interest in education. Since my graduation in 2003, I've completed over 60 units of college classes. I am currently working on a second degree, in Nursing.
