After I completed my degree, I started working in the government contracting industry as a number cruncher (Pricing Analyst) for proposals. Proposal work tends to be quite challenging and that is where I learned the most about Excel and how to do efficient reporting. I was also fortunate to work with several of the Washington, DC area's Excel experts and eventually became an expert myself.
