A Little Bit About Me...

I studied education at Montclair State University for 4 years but I have a always been a teacher. From leadership roles in high school to corporate training, I have a talent for being able to boil subjects down to their basics and provide true understanding. My strongest subjects are Math, Music, and Literature. I can also do work in Science, English and Humanities/Social Studies.
I teach people to learn and find answers on their own. I guide the student through exercises in any field and try to avoid straight memorization by putting the subject is some kind of context. I keep up with current trends and technology and can use that to aid in relationships and teaching.

A diverse education at Wesleyan University has prepared me to tutor many high school subjects. I earned my BA at Wesleyan in Music but I almost double majored in Environmental Science. The high expectations of professors at Wesleyan pushed me to greatly improve my writing ability, with my music thesis earning me honors in music. Since graduating from Queens College with my degree in Mathematics and Elementary and Early Childhood Education I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas of education and taking on many different roles. I have tutored students from grades kindergarten through 12th grade and adults in Special Education, Elementary Education, Mathematic, English, and Spanish I&II.
