I graduated from St. Joseph's College in May 2012 after four years at the college. I received a bachelors degree of cum laude in English Secondary Education and a minor in Speech communications. I am in the process of receiving my New York State Certification in secondary education in grades 7-12 with an extension for grades 5 and 6. Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school! I am a life-long learner, having earned my BA after enjoying two successful careers. I was a reporter for 10 years, then went to the corporate world. When I was downsized five years ago I ventured into other areas including teaching.
I like to teach with a light touch. As a parent I have nurtured teenagers through challenging times. My experience has taught me that most kids only want to study those subjects that interest them.
