Have a very creative style when it comes to learning. Make lessons fun so it can set a positive environment for children and allow them to be more comfortable and enthusiastic.
Worked with "At Risk" 8th graders to help get them on a positive path to High School. Instructed forums for the students that provided with the necessary information to have a successful education. I Created Agendas for upstate youth detention facilities to motivate them to return back to school upon release. Working with various groups of youth have inspired me to help anyone who wants to learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. I am confident that any student can learn the material; however, I know that sometimes different amounts of work are required, as well as different teaching methods. I try all methods until I find one that works. My job is to teach the student, and I do not stop until they understand the material. Though I graduated with a BS in Secondary English Education, I have tutored and worked with students from elementary to secondary levels. From 2003-2008 I taught English and a little Spanish in both public and private schools, endeavoring to give my fullest and best to teaching all students who came across my path. Teaching in a U.S. public school and at a private institution overseas introduced me to a variety of students from different backgrounds, learning styles, and study habits.
