Non professional student teacher willing to help any young adult or child in learning fun and exciting new ways to learn new materials. I don't just take charge and try and make them learn I let them tell me how they can retain the information the way it suits them. I am a non professional student teacher but love to help make learning fun. I am currently enrolled at Brown Mackie College and know how difficult it can be to understand what is being taught. I differentiate my teaching to try and match the current abilities and learning styles of the students. I want to know what the student knows, and then begin to teach them something new. I will demonstrate, guide the student through a few examples and let them do it on their own. Student teaching at Rocky Mountain High School, in Meridian, Idaho. Taught English to sophomores and seniors. I have taught as an observer in middle schools and junior high schools; South in Boise, Idaho, Rober Stuart Junior High in Twin Falls, Idaho, and at Pathways Middle School in Meridian, Idaho. I tutored at South Junior High in the Avid program and in a ESL tutoring room in the same school.

As a graduate from BYU with a BS in finance and composite minors in accounting and economics, I moved into the medical management field. Within 7 years, I had taken a medical practice struggling to survive financially to a 3-physician, 2-midlevel practice. That experience launched a career. Other business background includes general management of a hotel/restaurant/touring company in a resort town. Later, I returned to school to complete an MA in theater. Here, I taught theater as an adjunct professor. I have also written and published a book and several one-act plays and variety shows. I have a unique approach to teaching because my background is both analytical (numbers and science) and imaginative (theater and literature). I started as an Adjunct Instructor at ISU for the Geomatics Engineering program for the 2007-2008 school year. Prepare for class setup the curriculum, homework, grading and test for 10-12 students. I went to ITT Technical Institute following that and was offered to Chair School of Drafting & Design. I taught and ran the department for 2 years. I was in charge of 4-10 teachers and 170+ students. I believe in identifying the learning style of the student which can take some time with some. Are they a visual learner I draw pictures, maps, charts and video; if an audio learner tapes, lecture, youtube, video, etc,.. and if a kinesthetic learner then they need the hands on experience to develop the learning that is needed, so then standing back to guide the thought process without doing it for them.
