Since my fourteen-year-old son was diagnosed with Autism, at the age of eighteen months, I have provided therapy in our home and in camp settings under the supervision of Ph.D. and masters level therapist. I have provided the following therapies: Floortime, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Relationship Development Intervention. My comments on tutoring Special Education : As a Resource Room teacher for children with Special Needs I had the opportunity to get to know my students very well in a small setting.

I have taught in both public and private school settings. In the public school setting I was a Resource Room Teacher for students with varied learning and behavior needs. I was responsible for writing and implementing each student's IEP's. In addition I created an optimal learning environment for them. In the private setting I taught for a number of years one to one reading instruction for elementary age students.
