As a National Dean's List graduate from Alvernia University, I am driven towards high standards. I am semi-retired. Earning a Certified Public Accountant designation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enabled me to gain a broad understanding in areas of accounting, auditing, taxation, and law. My teaching style depends completely upon the level of the student. I will tailor each session to the student's needs. I am a believer in mastering the basics before moving on to the advanced. I also divide (and encourage the student to divide) materials into more manageable steps, making schoolwork much less overwhelming. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.
