I have grown a desire to work with children since my camp counseling job in 2004. I have been giving many opportunities to work with children due to my college training for a degree in education. I have found the balance between being a friend and authoritative figure with children through all of my experiences with children. Graduating magna cum laude, I take education seriously where I feel that everyone has the potential to grow and succeed. As a mother of two, I understand not only the importance of learning to read but the process involved. Each child has a different learning style and speed, and as a tutor it is important to be agile - teaching to individual needs.
