Even though I graduated with a degree in Business Adminstration I hav always enjoys tutoring. I have been tutoring my younger neices and nephews just because I enjoy so. I have tutored grades K-12 in about almost every subject possible except band. I have written lots research papers on many different subjects.
I feel if that you really want to learn a subject, that you should try teaching it. I am very friendly and laid back. I try to instill humor and life experiences with my teachings to help the children relate to me or the materials. I love the look of child when the wheels are turning in thier head. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught 6-12th grade English for three years. While teaching in Detroit I was the lead teacher heading the tutoring program for MEAP preparation. I have also prepared North Carolina students for ACT and SATs.
I have been told that my classroom does not need a teacher's desk. This is probably due to my high energy, fact paced teaching style. I love using music and technology to get the students interested. I also like to relate English to their lives and show them how they need it. Yes you may walk past my classroom and hear rap music but, that is strictly to show the students how tools of education are used in their everyday lives.
