A Little Bit About Me...

As the son of a teacher, education has always been an important part of my life. For the past 25 years I have had the pleasure of working with youth in many different capacities. I have coached, mentored, tutored and taught all ages. After receiving my teaching certificate in 1998, I spent a few years working as a substitute teacher teaching in all subject areas for all grades. In 2001 I began teaching Physical Education and working as a tutor for students who were temporarily removed from their school for various reasons.
Working with youth is a great passion of mine. I want every child to be successful. Helping fellow students further their careers was very satisfying and inspiring. Upon graduation, I counseled, trained, and equipped American and foreign college-level and graduate students for a non-profit. Later, in graduate school, I worked in Student Affairs, holding workshops, hosting social events, resourcing students and managing print projects.
