I have an unparalleled amount of patience.

My first teaching experience was in high school teaching at after school programs about basic economic principles that may apply to kids. That was my first time understanding that I have potential to assist others in grasping topics. In my college career, I found myself teaching people everything from music to proper uses of tense/grammar. It was there that i learned that you really only learn a small fraction of what you need to help you in life in the classroom. The rest must be learned on your own or with some one-on-one counseling. I started teaching in 1970 as a K-8 substitute, continuing until being hired by a private school in 1975. I then taught full time in East LA. Upon moving to Wa. and being certified here, I taught in several schools in differing cultural settings untill recently starting my own business in Newport. I have also tutored and graded math praxis.
I enjoy working with children and get a kick from seeing a discovery or understanding in a students eyes. I've had the opportunity to collect numerous bio. samples for hands on experience. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently have earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics in DEC 2009. I have helped and still currently tutor my younger brother through his calculus courses. I work very well in teaching and working with others. I have taught martial arts self defense and discipline for over 10 years in Wind Fist Kung Fu as an instructor. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with students of all ages in a variety of scenarios, but my most recent experience is teaching as an adjunct professor at Eastern Washington University. My course was "History 110: The American Experience." I had 52 students and we met Monday through Friday. I received excellent reviews and several of my students wrote to me or came to my office to tell me that I helped make history interesting for the first time.
