A Little Bit About Me...

Worked for Ross Stores in Gainesville area for close to three years dealt with customers and staff as the Store Manager. My priorities were training, hiring, and increasing sales. Ultimately, responsbile for entire store and entire staff. Worked for Linens-n-Things in Gainesville as a Merchandise Manager. Performed many different tasks however main duties were to train new employees, hard lines, and backroom. Save-a-Lot Grocery gave me the opportunity as Store Manager to improve sales, cleanliness, and morale. I acheived all these results in a short time because of positive motivational techniques. Good communications and specific directions and good follow-up will almost alway get stellar results.

I was brought up by both of my parents, which I am lucky to say they are both teachers. After I was born my mother stayed a housewife, but my father kept on studying, and teaching at many levels. He has now a PhD, and I am following in his footsteps, not quite same specialties but similar. Throught my working career of over 19 years, I have learned many skills and trades. But the one I have truly loved is learning new things continuosly. I am most comfortable training and tutoring in areas of language, business, basic math, computer skills and knowledge are my forte. I love teaching technology and how to use these systems.
