Teaching is a facilitating process. I believe it is my job to aide the student in developing a more solid understanding of the coursework in front of them. This may involve explaining the same concept to the child in a variety of ways to help them understand. The child may also just require a patient instructor who is willing to keep practicing until they have reached the mastery stage of learning. My teaching career began at Lyndon State College in Vermont. During my time at Lyndon, I was able to participate in many internships. Lyndon put me into the school systems/districts as early as my sophomore year. While obtaining my education degree, I also became very interested in psychology due to the nature of some of my students.
