I recognize that each student learns differently. It is important to me to assses the style that is best for the student. I will always differentiate the way I teach to the benefit of the pupil. If a student needs more visual aid and description, that is how I will teach them. If a different student needs manipulatives or prefers auditory lessons, I will provide that for them. From 2007 to 2010, I worked as a math tutor at Huntington Learning Center in Pasadena, CA. I spent a lot of my work there helping high school students get ready for the math portion of the SAT, but I also worked with students on their school studies (in calculus, college and high school algebra, and geometry). Most recently, I spent about five months working as a math tutor at Sylvan Learning Center in Jackson, MS.
