While in college myself, I tutored other students in college algebra. I also helped students with basic, intro level college math courses. I earned my nursing degree in May 2013. My favorite subjects are any type of math, sciences; to include biology, anatomy and physiology. I also received high scores in all of my college level English and composition courses.

I have two children at home that I am always teaching. During high school, I often tutored anyone who needed it, particularly in the Anatomy and Physiology classes. I have taken 4 years total of A & P between high school and college, and have passed each course with an "A". English has been a very strong subject for me. I took Advance Placement classes for college credit in HS, and received the highest score on my exam in the school.I thoroughly enjoy tutoring children. Very patient. I am a firm believer that the best way to learn varies from subject to subject. When I taught math my view was that the best way to teach was to break everything down into a step by step process and have the students memorize the process. Most other subjects can be learned through repitition, but math requires everything to be broken down. I taught 8th through 10th grade at a Christian School in Ludowici. I taught every subject, but never a math course higher then Algebra 1.

i have a BS degree in Biology and enough credits to have a minor in Chemistry. I am in the process of taking the tests to get a provisional certificate in teaching. I have tutored fellow students while in school. Recently i have tutored elementary school students in math. I try to instill in the students that they can do the work. Students can do the work, the only thing needed is to get them to acknowledge that they can do it. Usually all they need is to have the process re-explained to them and if needed, have the process explained in a different method.

Teaching others cannot be defined by one style of teaching. The way to teach is by learning first how the student receives the information. Auditory learners and Visual learners require two different methods of teaching. The key is to make the information understandable to the student by breaking the information down in any format.
