I can assist your child in his or her vocabulary skills. First of all, a dictionary is required. We will work together and read respectable grade level books. The student will have " weekly word list". The word list will consist of words their school requires them to know or age-appropriate words be given. These words would need to be placed in alphabetical order, sentences, crossword puzzles, and much more. These exercises will provide the child confidence in themselves when book reports are given and etc.

I always try to find a different approach to learning. If the material is delivered in a boring way, it won't be memorized. I try to engage students to become really interested in the subject. I use metaphors and comparisons to explain the meaning of a certain word of phrase and a clue to remember both its spelling and meaning. A Little Bit About Me...
