My comments on tutoring Writing : I have been teaching creative and expository writing to students for over 25 years.

I am a very interactive teacher. I want feedback so I can see the progress the student is making. If they are not getting something, I make adjustments and change tactics. I teach tot he student(s). Everyone learns differently. And sometimes by the time I get to them student, it has nothing to do with their ability but more their confidence because of previously bad experiences. Writing is one of my top subjects! I teach writing at the elementary school level.
