I have over 15 years experience. My experience began in 1998. I have worked in rural areas, inner city school, and I have worked with home school parents. I also work with students online and via SKYPE. Currently, I work with students after school in many of the local libraries. I also work with high school juniors and seniors with the ACT exam. I enjoy working with high school students in my ACT classes. My students have earned 4 or more points on the ACT exam!

I greatly enjoy seeing the students achieve their learning goals and their yearly progress In 2000, I began to teach special education and teaching special needs children with learning disabilities. I taught grades 3rd-5th in a self-contained, reading, math, and language skills and middle school grades 6th- 8th. After Hurricane Katrina, I moved to Pensacola, Fl. I taught regular ed. 3rd grade, all subjects,special ed., 3rd-5th and SRA reading classes, high school grades 9-12, career ed., health, and reading to behaviorally challenged students. In 1977 I earned a Bachelor Degree in Biology and was able to use it for 5 years as a Biological Lab Assistant at the United States Army Aeromedical Research Lab. During my tenure, I earned an MBA in Aviation. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, I worked for 8 years as a financial examiner for the National Credit Union Administration. This career was followed by 6 years as a private business consultant and as a procurement specialist for the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama.
