I have a BA in English with a concentration in Mass Communications, an MA in Secondary Education with a concentration in Language Arts, and an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration. I attended Cardiff University where I majored in English studies and Linguistics and have been teaching courses in linguistics, language development and grammar at the college level for 15 years. I currently teach in a speech pathology department and am familiar with communication disorders that lead to literacy and learning problems. I have published widely. I have also mentored and tutored students who are having problems with their writing and literacy skills.
