Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. While my academic background has had a focus, primarily, in the social work realm, my overall philosophy for working with youth emphasizes patience and education. I have sought opportunities working with both young children and adolescents. My interest began when I tutored elementary age children during my high school career. I have a passion for making students of different age groups grasp concepts of Mathematics in their own way. After evaluating the way the student understands different concepts, I will strive to make them understand the problems completely. The student and I will discuss what his/her difficulties are and we will work on them together; going through the basics and the important concepts.
