I believe that learning is ongoing throughout life, and that we all differ in our learning styles. As an undergraduate I worked at the mathematics tutor lab in our department. As a PhD student I both taught and assisted in the teaching of mathematics courses at the university level. Also I have experience with privately tutoring elementary, jr. high and high school students.

I have been involved with education for seven years now. I started by working as a paraprofessional in the special education program at Oyster River High School. This job was essentially daily tutoring of students within the school setting.
