A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy seeing the "A ha" moment that students get when a concept becomes clear to them. I am not a big fan of memorization and have encouraged students to not only understand the concepts, but to also link the concepts together into a big picture understanding. Careful reinforcement of the Correct method will ensure Remembrance and Results. Also, Lessons must be approached within the context of the Big Picture. Students need to realize that there are no pointless or forgettable sections. Basically, communication is key followed by practice, reinforcement, more practice. Learning can be at pace, but laziness and whining will not be tolerated.
